By providing your mobile number and ticking the SMS consent box when you book, you agree to receive text messages from Barbers Network Inc about your bookings. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services other than the booking notifications described below.
How to sign up
There is nothing separate to join. You opt in to booking text messages in one of two ways: • When you book a service, tick the SMS consent checkbox on the confirmation step • When you sign in, by entering your mobile number and requesting a verification code The consent checkbox is never pre-ticked, and you choose whether to tick it.
What you will receive
• Account verification codes when you sign in • Booking confirmations and status updates • Service start and service completion codes to share with your provider • Provider arrival and availability updates • A receipt link after a completed service
What you will not receive
Barbers Network Inc does not send marketing or promotional text messages. Every message relates to an account action or a booking you made. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on your booking activity — a typical booking generates a small number of messages, and you receive none when you have no active booking. Message and data rates may apply. Barbers Network does not charge you for text messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message to cancel SMS messages at any time. Reply HELP for help. If you have an account, you can also turn SMS off by category from Profile → Notification Preferences. Opting out of SMS does not delete your account and does not affect email or in-app notifications. Note that some messages, such as verification codes and service start codes, are needed to complete a booking. Opting out may prevent you from booking.
Supported carriers
Messages are supported on all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
